Osama Speculation

A posting on an Islamist Web site that said the fugitive militant could die at any time and that Muslims should be prepared. This was taken by some to mean he might actually be dead and was used by some investors as an excuse to cover short equity positions, dealers said.

I read some speculation yesterday that President Bush would announce Bin Laden's death or capture in his press conference. Sometimes one rumor starts another.
